Edge browser is heavily optimized: 0 delay/support for PWA

Microsoft has recently announced that it will release Windows 10 RS3, which it calls the Fall Creators Update, later this year.

In addition to providing a new UI interface and support for ARM processors, the RS3 system will also deeply optimize operating performance, and the Edge browser will be one of the beneficiaries.

Microsoft said that the current Edge browser occasionally experiences delays when opening tabs or entering URL addresses, which seriously affects the user experience. For this reason, we will optimize Edge in the RS3 system to eliminate this delay.

In addition, the UI interface of the Edge browser in the RS3 system will also be affected by Microsoft's latest Fluent design style. The favorites will have richer animation effects, and the UI switching will be smoother.

It is worth mentioning that the new version of Edge browser will also support PWA. PWA is a concept created by Google engineer Alex Russell, which refers to a website that is more functional than application software. These websites will provide users with a functional experience similar to desktop software and even support offline use.

Currently, PWA is still in its early stages, but Microsoft is ready to support it, which is good for both developers and users.
