I downloaded Sony's unique Headphones Connect program, which automatically connected to the headphones after opening it. The program provides a variety of control options such as noise reduction, equalizer, ambient sound, etc.

With the noise reduction function turned on and in sound priority mode, I first listened to a 30M version of Queen's "We Are the Champions". The lead singer Freddie Mercury has a gorgeous voice, and the Sony SP700N can perfectly reproduce it after crossing four octaves.

During the five-minute test, it was hard to believe that such a small SP700N could play such a large and complex music. You know, many inferior speakers will have trouble playing Freddie Mercury, not only because his range is too wide, but also because his voice contains many subtle emotional expressions. If the details are not fully restored, those gorgeous transitions from his unremitting pursuit of life and love will become a car accident scene, ruining the Queen's grandeur and subtlety.

After another test, I chose a female voice that was gentle, yet delicate enough, a female voice that had long since retired from the Hong Kong music scene. Priscilla Chan, a voice that dared to sing a cappella and was respected by her peers in the Hong Kong music scene.

We chose the song "Moonlight Serenade" from her "Live Life" concert. In the first minute and a half, Priscilla's almost unaccompanied low singing is a great test of the equipment's expressiveness in the bass part. Fortunately, SP700N took up this difficult question and gave a nearly perfect answer. When the music entered 1 minute and 40 seconds, Priscilla's voice began to burst out, hammering your eardrums with her unique mezzo-soprano. With the cheers of the concert audience rising and falling, the SP700N completed an excellent situation substitution.

Because of the noise reduction, you can ignore what's happening outside and just listen to good music. In the final test, I chose "All the Pubs on This Planet" by the rock band "Wan Qing". And, on the player, I chose NetEase Cloud Music.

Wan Qing plays the guitar very well, whether it is guitar, bass or drums in the distance, the small body of SP700N can express them in distinct layers. In the long passages of bass, SP700N and Wan Qing completed an intoxicating ensemble.

Overall, when Sony SP700N carried the expectations of the public and represented the restart of the noise-canceling earbuds market, it did not disappoint. From wearing comfort to musical expressiveness, it has done its best in the market of around 1,500 yuan. As for how good it is, you will know when you listen to it yourself. Perhaps we will have the same feeling, that is, except for the heavenly sound, no one else is around.
