On December 16, the 2024 TCL QD-Mini LED new technology launch conference with the theme of "Light Creates Everything" was officially held. A series of leading technologies such as All-in-One Partitioning, Quantum Dot Pro 2025, and Colorful XDR made their debut. Through the upgrading of Mini LED underlying technology, it brought unprecedented picture quality experience.

Start the image quality leap and reshape the world

Backlight partitioning and peak brightness are the two core indicators of Mini LED TVs, which have greatly improved the picture quality of TVs. However, in recent years, many consumers have found that some TV products have high indicator parameters, but the picture quality is not satisfactory. In fact, improving the picture quality of Mini LED TVs requires a complete set of full-link systematic optical solutions, involving a large number of Mini LED underlying technologies. As early as the beginning of this year, TCL launched two algorithms, transient response and bidirectional 16-bit, to strengthen the control of Mini LED backlight. This time, not only has it been upgraded to 23-bit based on the bidirectional 16-bit, but also a new ultra-dynamic light and shadow bionic algorithm has been added. It combines the human eye perception characteristics and the picture pixel information to intelligently optimize the SDR signal and optimize the SDR signal to a nearly HDR effect. The HDR effect can be greatly enhanced, the details and contrast of bright and dark scenes can be greatly improved, and online film and television resources can also present more realistic light and shadow details.

TCL has once again achieved a qualitative leap in color performance and peak brightness with its innovative and upgraded Quantum Dot Pro 2025 and Colorful XDR technologies, presenting users with more vivid and realistic picture effects.

In terms of materials, Quantum Dot Pro 2025 has been fully upgraded. It has been upgraded from quaternary quantum crystal to colorful quantum crystal, using a composite nano-diamond structure, and using multi-layer co-extrusion technology and high-precision mixing technology to make the quantum dot layer, which greatly improves the luminous efficiency.
