Tesla: Tesla's sales in China reached 137,200 units in Q1 2025, a three-year high

Tesla recently announced its first quarter delivery situation. Tesla's official website shows that Tesla's global first quarter delivery volume was 336,681 vehicles, down 13% from the same period last year, and the market estimate was 390,343 vehicles. However, in the Chinese market, Tesla's quarterly sales hit a new high. According to the latest statistics, Tesla China's weekly sales from March 24 to March 31 reached 21,000 units, which is also the fifth consecutive week that Tesla has set a new record for the highest weekly sales in 2025.

This means that Tesla's domestic sales in the first quarter of this year reached 137,200 units, making it the first quarter with the highest sales since 2022.

Since last year, domestic new forces have successively released a number of SUV models, but these models have not shaken the market share of Tesla Model Y. In 2024, Tesla Model Y sold 480,309 units in the Chinese market, a year-on-year increase of 5.24%, and won the top spot in China's high-end pure electric SUV sales.

In addition, Tesla China recently launched a new limited-time car purchase policy: Before April 30, the entire Model Y series will have a limited-time 3-year 0% interest and 5-year ultra-low interest car purchase finance policy. Model 3 rear-wheel drive version/long-range all-wheel drive version has a limited-time 5-year 0% interest policy. The ultra-long interest-free finance policy will also drive Tesla's sales to further increase.
