Steve Jobs unveils the first iPhone at Macworld

On the morning of October 15, the International Data Group (IDG) announced today that the Macworld/iWorld exhibition will officially cease to be held, and the important Mac exhibition that started in 1985 is about to end.

Macworld/iWorld and Apple Conference was founded by IDG and is an industry exhibition and conference dedicated to the Apple Macintosh platform. This four-day exhibition showcases hundreds of Mac products and services in a comprehensive exhibition hall, creating an environment full of Apple products, providing participants with in-depth experiences such as entertainment, training, communication and enterprise-level applications, expert advice, and various demonstrations and guidance.

The first Macworld was held in San Francisco, USA in 1985. Since then, it has been held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco in the second week of January every year. It has a history of 30 years.

After 2000, Macworld reached its peak. Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs released new products at the Macworld/iWorld exhibition, including the first generation iPhone, MacBook Air, and important systems and software. But Apple ended its relationship with Macworld in 2008, and the exhibition has since declined. So far, Apple has not participated in the Macworld conference for five consecutive years. There was news that Macworld magazine would stop publishing before, and the end of the exhibition was also expected.
