Apple officially releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, improves Wi-Fi reliability

Apple today officially released OS X Yosemite 10.10.1, the latest update since the system was released in October. Testing of OS X 10.10.1 began on November 3, and before the official release, Apple had pushed two beta versions to developers. Users and developers can download updates through the Mac App Store.

This update is available for all Yosemite users and improves the stability and compatibility of Mac. This update includes:

Improve Wi-Fi reliability.

Improved reliability when connecting to Microsoft Exchange Server.

Improves reliability of sending Mail messages when using certain mail service providers.

Improves reliability when connecting to a remote computer using Back to My Mac.

Additionally, this update fixes some important issues that users have discovered in OS X Yosemite, including a Wi-Fi issue that caused some users to experience connection failures.
