Google releases open source game to showcase multiplayer Android TV gaming

Many people believe that open source is the future, and this view is hard to argue with because open source allows software to be used in a variety of environments. Today Google open-sourced a multiplayer Android TV game called Pie Moon, which is now available for installation and trial through the Play Store.

Pie Noon is a simple game that demonstrates simultaneous gaming on multiple Nexus players and Android TV devices. Up to 4 players can play the game via Bluetooth controllers and touch devices. The game uses FlatBuffers for data serialization, WebP for image compression, and MathFu for math acceleration.
