According to the US technology website BGR, Apple has become the world's largest company, recently breaking all previous sales and profit records. It is also the world's first company with a market value of more than 700 billion US dollars. However, some people are still worried that Apple will find it difficult to cope with the impact from Chinese companies such as Xiaomi. Apple CEO Tim Cook responded to this topic at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference on Tuesday. Cook admitted that market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, but Apple is not worried.

Cook pointed out that we are always facing fierce competition, which makes us better. Cook said: "We are always fighting against strong opponents. There is Microsoft in the computer industry, Nokia and Blackberry in the mobile phone industry. In the case of iPad, some people have questioned why we launched such a product? We are always facing fierce competition. So we will not lose sleep because of fear. If we develop great products, we will be safe."

BGR's article states that it is not surprising that Xiaomi is considered Apple's main competitor. Although the smartphone manufacturer was founded only four years ago, it has risen rapidly. Xiaomi is currently valued at $45 billion and has a high market share in China. In terms of smartphone shipments, Xiaomi has ranked among the top five in the world.

The article also believes that Xiaomi has a large number of fans in emerging markets such as China and India, and its smartphones are of high quality and high configuration, and are cheap.
