Google updated the Android M developer preview, which mainly improves security and battery life compared to Lollipop. This version includes more authorization settings improvements, such as fingerprint verification and external storage processing authorization method improvements.

Google strongly recommends that you upgrade to version ***, which includes the latest platform APIs: updated Bluetooth Stylus APIs, added new calls to the Media API, refactored some classes, and more.

There are also a number of bug fixes. Google notes: The Messenger app doesn't run well on 64-bit emulators yet, there are some issues with YouTube video sharing, issues with contact syncing, issues with Android M on the Nexus Player, and more.
