On December 16, Google's mobile payment service Android Pay finally came out in the mobile application. It will enter the international market as planned, and Australia is the first stop. Android Pay, released in May this year, allows mobile users using Google's Android mobile operating system to upload credit and debit card information to the "mobile wallet". Starting in September this year, consumers can use their mobile phones to pay in 1 million retail stores in the United States that have NFC card machines. With the launch of Android Pay on Tuesday, people can use credit card information stored in Google services to complete transactions using mobile applications. Users only need to click on Android Pay in the application, confirm the bill and credit card information, and then complete the payment. Applications that have integrated Android Pay include instant delivery service provider Instacart, takeout delivery startup DoorDash, shared travel company Lyft, restaurant reservation service provider OpenTable, etc.

Google has offered benefits to users who use Android Pay, including $10 off your first Lyft ride and $10 off DoorDash food deliveries.

Android Pay will soon enter its first international market, launching in Australia in the first half of 2016. Google says Australian merchants such as 7-11, McDonald's and Telstra will begin accepting Android Pay in the next six months. Rival Apple Pay is already available in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Apple is said to be launching the service in China in 2016. The difference between Android Pay and Apple Pay is that once released it will support many existing Android devices, including older phones. Currently, seven out of ten Android phones in the US can be installed with Android Pay.
