Apple's business is declining? The opposite may be true

At present, the smartphone business is in a bottleneck period. Even Apple and Samsung, which are in the leading position, have encountered consumers' disapproval. Many smartphone users feel that their current smartphones are sufficient for their use and do not buy the latest flagship phones. This may not be good news for Apple, which relies on smartphone hardware as its core profit point. In fact, almost all analysts have negative predictions for Apple's business.

But is Apple's business really declining? Brian White, an analyst at investment firm Drexel Hamilton, believes it is too early to say that Apple's business is declining.

Brian White said in an investor report recently that although there are concerns about iPhone sales after Christmas, in fact, Apple may have just experienced its worst January since 2008.

It has been reported that Apple is planning to establish its first R&D center outside of China in India, aiming to expand its international market.

"We are very excited to open a new research and development center in Hyderabad, which will house 150 Apple employees working on map development. The center will also be open to contractors who support our ambitious plans in the local area," Apple said in a statement to The Times of India.

The new R&D center will cover 250,000 square feet and will be located on the WaveRock campus. The cost will be $25 million.

Generally speaking, the third quarter is the weakest quarter for Apple's business. However, unlike previous years, Apple may release a new product called iPhone 5se in March this year to provide consumers with an additional choice. However, the business prospects of this new iPhone with a 4-inch screen are still unclear.
