Apple releases iOS 11.4 beta 4 with information sync feature

Recently, Apple pushed iOS 11.4 beta 3 to developers. Just one week later, beta 4 was released last night. This is the fourth iOS 11.4 beta version released by Apple within a month, which may mean that the official version will be released soon.

First of all, iOS 11.4 is specially designed for ClassKit to a certain extent. Educational institutions and related developers can use the ClassKit framework to add more functions, such as distributing homework, taking attendance, checking teaching progress, etc. This framework was launched at the new iPad launch conference on March 27.

In addition to Classkit, iOS 11.4 adds features that originally existed in the iOS 11.3 beta. Apple later deleted these features from the official version of iOS 11.3, but added them back in iOS 11.4, probably to maintain stability.

Specifically, we can now store iMessages in iCloud, and there is also a more user-friendly synchronization function. Previously, although the received iMessages will be displayed on all devices logged in to the Apple ID, when we want to view old messages on a new device, or want to delete certain messages on all devices at once, the old version of the synchronization function does not support it. Now we can finally enjoy true 100% synchronization.

At the same time, AirPlay2 is also worth looking forward to. Through AirPlay 2, users can play the same audio content in multiple rooms, such as Apple TVs placed in different rooms. At the same time, users can control the playback content of Apple TV through Siri on iPhone. As for HomePod, Apple added stereo sound effect function to HomePod in the first beta version, but later deleted it, so it is difficult for us to see the stereo sound effect function in the short term.

As for iOS 11.3, which many friends are using, a new battery health function has been added, as well as improvements such as business chat, ARkit 1.5, and new Animoji. In addition to iOS 11.4 beta 4, Apple also pushed macOS High Sierra 10.13.5 beta 4 yesterday. Like iOS 11.4, the new version of macOS supports iCloud information synchronization. In addition to the synchronization function mentioned above, users can also store all information records and attachments in iCloud to save storage space.

Apart from this, there are no more new features in 10.13.5. In the previous version 10.13.4, Apple added support for external graphics cards (eGPU).
