As the September fall conference approaches, more and more information about the new generation of iPhone, or should I say iPhone Pro, is leaking. Based on observations in previous years, the leaks before the conference may be the most accurate. A recent article published by Bloomberg talked about the details of this year's new iPhone, as well as Apple's new products such as the new iPad Pro, new AirPods, 16-inch MacBook Pro, and "cheap version" HomePod. It was previously reported that this year's two new iPhones with OLED screens will be named with "Pro" as the suffix, and Bloomberg also confirmed this in the article. In terms of camera hardware, both "iPhone Pro" models with OLED screens will be equipped with three rear cameras. On the basis of the traditional wide-angle camera and telephoto camera, an "ultra-wide-angle camera" will be added; there are also some new features in the software, such as three cameras that can record the screen at the same time, and combine multiple photos into a "high-resolution photo" that is "comparable to traditional single-lens cameras." In addition, the iPhone's low-light shooting ability will also be improved, and a new feature called "Smart Photo Frame" will be added: when other lenses are working, the ultra-wide-angle lens will record the screen at the same time, and the extra information will help users to make cropping corrections.
In terms of video shooting, Bloomberg also stated that the new iPhone's video shooting capabilities will be "significantly improved", and with the support of the A13 chip, certain post-editing (such as video portrait mode?) will be able to be performed in real time during video recording. As for the rumor that the new iPhone will use a "matte frosted glass material" for the back cover, Bloomberg said that "some colors" will be like this, and the back cover glass of the new iPhone will be more resistant to falling, and the waterproof level will also be improved. This revelation also coincides with the revelation made by Ming-Chi Kuo at the beginning of this year. Although the "bangs area" on the front of the new iPhone this year will not be reduced, FaceID may be upgraded. Bloomberg said that the new FaceID sensor equipped with the new iPhone will be able to perform "multi-angle scanning" and even unlock the phone when it is placed flat on the table without adjusting the angle of the face. As for this year's iterative models of the iPhone XR, the Bloomberg article also mentioned the previously rumored new green and lavender colors, which will replace the current coral and blue versions of the iPhone XR, while the original black, white, yellow and red colors will continue to be retained. All three new iPhones will be equipped with the A13 Bionic chip, and Bloomberg also mentioned that the A13 chip will include a new "matrix" coprocessor to optimize certain tasks. In addition, the two iPhones with OLED screens will also have the function of "reverse wireless charging." As for the new Apple Watch and the new AirPods, the former will usher in the return of "ceramic material", and will also add a new "titanium" case material, while the new AirPods are in the "under development" state and will have stronger waterproof and noise reduction performance. The new HomePod may be launched next year, with two internal speakers instead of seven, and a lower price. As for the 16-inch MacBook Pro, there is no specific release date yet, but it is likely to be unveiled in October this year together with the new 10.2-inch iPad, which may replace the current 9.7-inch iPad in the future. Apple is likely to hold its fall conference on September 10. Considering the date of last year's invitation (August 30), if nothing unexpected happens, we will receive this year's invitation next week. |
