According to media reports, the GMS (Google Mobile Services) authorization document released by Google on September 3 listed several new regulations, requiring that in order to obtain a complete Android system, these settings and specifications must be followed. If these are not met, Google will not allow GMS to be authorized, and the phone will be like the Huawei Mate 30, which can only use a castrated version and many functions will not be installed.

First of all, charging. The Android camp continues to push up the wattage of fast charging, which often starts at 30W or 40W. However, not all chargers are interoperable. For example, the Samsung Note 10+ supports 45W super fast charging, but can only use limited chargers. Google hopes to unify the PD fast charging specifications. The latest document requires manufacturers to use USB-C ports and support related charging protocols, which means that every PD charger can be used on all Android phones.

In addition, because addiction brings new health hazards, Google requires all new Android phones to be installed with the "Health" app and built-in parental controls to prevent children from playing with their phones for too long. Google has launched "Health" on its own, which includes counting the time users use apps every day, the number of notifications, and the frequency of checking their phones, and can limit the time used by setting relevant settings.
