Huawei HMS will cooperate with India's Indus OS to replace Google GMS with 400,000 APP applications

According to cnbeta, Huawei will cooperate with India's Indus OS, and the latter's 400,000 local apps will become a replacement for Google GMS and Play Store.

The report mentioned that Huawei is negotiating with India's Indus OS and the deal is about to be completed. The latter's app store App Bazaar is very popular locally, with 400,000 APP applications in more than 12 local languages.

It should be noted that Indus OS has a close relationship with Samsung. In 2019, Samsung invested US$5.75 million to acquire a 20% stake in OSLabs, which is the company behind Indus OS. Samsung's Galaxy Store in India also needs the support of Indus OS's app store.
