Apple pushes iOS 13.4.1 update to fix FaceTime call issues

Today, Apple pushed the 13.4.1 version update to iOS and iPad OS users, fixing the FaceTime call problem and Bluetooth selection failure problem on both platforms. In addition, it also fixed the problem that some iPad models could not turn on the flashlight.

The main FaceTime call issue fixed is that devices running iOS 13.4 or iPad OS 13.4 cannot join FaceTime calls running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier.

The specific updates of these two systems are as follows:

iOS:

• iOS 13.4.1 includes bug fixes for iPhone.
• Fixes an issue that prevented devices running iOS 13.4 from making FaceTime calls with devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier
• Resolves an issue with the Settings app that would cause Bluetooth to fail when selected from the quick actions menu on the Home screen

iPad OS:

• Fixed an issue preventing devices running iPadOS 13.4 from joining FaceTime calls on devices running iOS 9.3.6 and earlier, or OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and earlier.
• Addresses an issue on iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) where the flash may not turn on after tapping the Flash button in Control Center or on the Lock screen.
• Addresses a bug that could cause Bluetooth to fail when chosen from the Settings app quick actions menu on the Home screen.
