WeChat update: Sell WeChat Beans at a high price to reward anchors

WeChat for iOS has been updated to version 7.0.20. The official update log only has a simple and common sentence, which fixes some known issues. However, netizens have found that the problem is not that simple.

In the new version of WeChat, the discovery page has a new "Nearby Live Broadcasts and People " section. Once you enter, you can see people nearby who are broadcasting live, and you can also view more recommendations such as live broadcasts in the same city.

At the same time, the personal profile page has an additional "WeChat Beans", which are props used to pay for virtual items in WeChat. Virtual gifts can be purchased during video account live broadcasts.

If you want to get WeChat Beans, you have to spend money to recharge, and the price is not cheap at all: 7 for 1 yuan, 126 for 18 yuan, 350 for 50 yuan, 896 for 128 yuan, 2086 for 298 yuan, and 3626 for 518 yuan .

In fact, it has always been 7 WeChat beans for 1 yuan. There is no discount for buying more or less, it’s just a different package.

In recent times, WeChat has invested heavily in live broadcasts and video accounts, and has carried out forced promotion through various entrances and resources , including displaying the video accounts that so-called friends are watching in prominent positions on subscription accounts, and no modification or blocking is allowed.

WeChat for Android has not yet added nearby live broadcasts, people, and WeChat beans, but judging from the situation, it will be added in the next version.

WeChat's rather ugly behavior has also caused dissatisfaction among many netizens - instead of listening to users' voices and improving and updating functions, it has been making money in a series of ways!
