The Android version of WeChat 8.0.1 was updated two weeks later than the iOS version. Is iOS the more reliable one?

I just saw a message on the news app saying that WeChat has been updated to version 8.0.1. I was wondering, what's going on? Hasn't my iPhone been updated to 8.0.2? Then I took a closer look and found that it was the Android version of WeChat 8.0.1. Although the update version number is just like that, it is still annoying to see a slow update. The slow system version and APP updates are the main reasons why I gave up Android phones!

The iOS version of WeChat updates too fast

Let's not talk about other apps, just WeChat, the update speed on Android and iOS platforms is quite different. iPhone users updated WeChat 8.0, and it was a few days after the bomb was released, Android users upgraded to WeChat 8.0. The difference between the latest 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 versions is even greater. I also looked at the update time of the iOS version. WeChat 8.0.1 was updated two weeks ago, while WeChat 8.0.2 was updated three days ago. By this calculation, the update of the Android version can no longer be described as half a beat slower, it is simply offline.

Except for WeChat, most apps are updated on iOS first.

Why is the Android version of the APP always slower than the iOS version? It's the same reason as the slow update of the Android phone system. The Android platform is so lush that the number of Android phone brands alone is dazzling. In China, there are Huawei, Xiaomi, Meizu, OnePlus, vivo, and OPPO, and abroad, there are Samsung, Sony, and LG. Simply put, there are so many mobile phone manufacturers on the earth. Except for Apple's iPhone using iOS, other manufacturers all use the Android system. Even for phones from the same manufacturer, there are many types of Android phones due to differences in resolution, CPU, GPU, memory, etc., and the difficulty of adaptation can be imagined.

What about the iOS platform? There are far fewer phone models than Android, and the hardware differences between phones of the same generation are also very small, so the difficulty of adaptation is much lower.

When I was still using Android phones, I was troubled by the speed of Android system and APP upgrades, especially the Android system. Every time, I had to wait for more than half a year after the official release of a new version of Android to get an update, and in most cases, if it was not a flagship phone, it could not be upgraded. Since I switched to iPhone, I have never worried about system upgrades and APP upgrades. As we all know, some iPhone models can be updated up to 6 times. Regardless of whether it is smooth or not, at least it has it.
