WeChat friend deletion detection coming soon? Tencent releases patent for "one-way friend detection"

When a friend is deleted from WeChat, you will not receive any notification and will not find out until you send a message to the other party. In the past, many people used to create a group to check who deleted their friend relationship, which was cumbersome and embarrassing. Moreover, once you accidentally send a message in the group, the group will be established.

Tencent has recently applied for a patent that seems to be designed for this purpose.

According to Tianyancha APP, on April 23, Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. disclosed a patent for "one-way friend detection method, device, medium and computer equipment for social accounts".

The patent abstract shows that this application relates to a one-way friend detection method, device, medium and computer equipment for a social account, the method comprising: obtaining a one-way friend detection instruction triggered based on a social application interface, the one-way friend detection instruction including an account identifier of the detected social account;

Based on the one-way friend detection instruction, obtaining a one-way friend identifier determined according to the first address book of the detected social account and the second address book corresponding to each social account in the first address book;

Acquire one-way friend information according to the one-way friend identifier; and display the one-way friend information in the social application interface.

Tencent said that the method is simple to operate, does not require sending a large amount of redundant information, improves the efficiency of one-way friend detection, and reduces system consumption.
