It turns out that the "+" sign in the upper right corner of WeChat has so many hidden functions. Learning them is a great way to gain knowledge.

1. Query the disappeared group

After using WeChat for so many years, you must have joined many groups. But when you open the "Group Chat" group in your address book, you can't find a WeChat group. Why is that?

You can click the "+" in the upper right corner of WeChat, select "Start a group chat", and then "Select a group", so that you can see all the groups you have added.

Next time, remember to click "•••" in the upper right corner of the group and select "Save to Address Book", then you will never have to worry about the group disappearing.

2. Batch search friends

WeChat does not allow for two-way deletion of friends. If you want to check who deleted you, click the "+" in the upper right corner and select "Start a group chat".

Then check 29 contacts in the list and click "Done". Real friends can successfully join the group. If the other party is not your friend, they will not be able to join.

Some friends may ask, why choose 29 friends?

Because 29 friends plus yourself make exactly 30 people, if the newly created WeChat group does not exceed 30 people, other people will not receive the notification of joining the group. This can avoid embarrassment and maximize the detection effect. Finally, disband the group chat.

3. Scan product barcode

We often use the "+" sign in the upper right corner of WeChat to "scan". In addition to scanning QR codes, it can also be used to scan product barcodes to automatically obtain product information and related content.

4. Identify Object Information

In addition, there is also an "object recognition" function in the scan function. When you point the camera at an object, you can automatically recognize the object information, related videos and information. It can recognize flowers, cars, commodities, food, etc.

5. Scan the translation document

Finally, switch to the "Translation" function, you can translate Chinese into English and English into Chinese. Take a picture of the text content and it will be automatically scanned and translated. There is a download button at the bottom. Click it to save it to the album.

However, it can only translate but not extract. I usually translate documents using the "Quick Text Recognition" applet on WeChat, especially for files sent in company groups, where I can directly select "Chat Picture".

After recognizing the text on the paper, it supports copying and exporting to Word and PDF. Click "More" to translate the document. There are currently 10 languages, and the translation supports one-click copying and extraction.
