A real tool! Let you quickly install Apple operating system on VirtualBox

Today, I want to share with you a useful Bash script that can create a macOS virtual machine client on VirtualBox directly from the unmodified macOS installation file downloaded from Apple's server.

The default installation is very simple, it takes less than ten seconds to install by pressing enter at the script prompt, without the need to interact with the virtual machine, tested Cygwin on bash and zsh. Works on macOS, CentOS 7 and Windows. Should work on most modern Linux distributions.

macos-virtualbox Currently, the script supports the installation of multiple new versions of Apple systems such as Catalina (10.15), Mojave (10.14) and High Sierra (10.13).

The documentation for macos-virtualbox can be viewed via the command: ./macos-guest-virtualbox.sh documentation. Most of the script is either documentation, comments, actionable error messages, etc.

iCloud, iMessage, and other connected Apple services require a valid device name and serial number, Apple parameters such as the motherboard ID and serial number, which can be set in the EFI and NVRAM by editing the script.

In addition, you can also set the storage size, memory size, number of CPUs, resolution and other parameters of macOS, as shown in the figure above.
