Apple iOS 15.0.1 stops signature verification, iOS 15.1 official version will be released next week

On October 19, Apple stopped signing and verifying the signature of iOS 15.0.1. Users will not be able to downgrade after upgrading to the official version of iOS 15.0.2.

The official version of iOS 15.0.1 fixes a bug in unlocking with Apple Watch, which prevents a certified Apple Watch from unlocking the iPhone 13/Pro series when the user is wearing a mask. The official version of iOS 15.0.1 also fixes a bug that may cause the Settings app to mistakenly display a storage space full alert, and solves a problem that may cause Apple Watch Fitness+ users to accidentally start training when enabling mindfulness meditation.

The latest iOS 15.0.2 fixes multiple bugs:

• Photos saved to your gallery from Messages may be deleted when the associated conversation or message is removed
• MagSafe Leather Card Holder for iPhone may not connect to Find My
• AirTags may not show up in the Items tab of Find My
• CarPlay may not open audio apps or may disconnect during playback
• Restoring or updating iPhone 13 models using Finder or iTunes may fail

Apple pushed the iOS 15.1 RC update (internal version number: 19B74) early this morning, and announced that iOS 15.1 will be released as a free software update next week, supporting the latest AirPods 3 headphones.
