Apple can’t escape the law of true fragrance: iOS 16 will be embedded with a large number of advertisements, will you buy it?

I once saw someone say in a forum: The only reason to use an Apple phone is that there are no ads!

You should know that when browsing APP on an Android phone, if you accidentally click on an advertisement, the page will automatically jump to shopping software such as Taobao, JD.com, Pinduoduo, etc. I believe everyone has had this "experience", right?

But this situation will not occur in Apple phones. Moreover, Apple has functions such as transparent APP tracking, so the sense of security is not just talk.

In general, compared with Apple, Android has fewer pop-ups and advertisements, while the latter has so many pop-up advertisements that they are as annoying as flies.

The most obvious thing is that Apple has to download apps through the APP Store, which is a breath of fresh air compared to Android. In Android, if you accidentally click on it, you will download all kinds of messy apps, especially when using a browser.

There is no harm without comparison. This apple really looks fragrant!

However, Apple's profits have declined in the past two years. In order to increase revenue, Apple will also invest more in advertising in the iPhone. Sure enough, now even Apple can't escape the "true fragrance law" of advertising!

In fact, we can't blame Apple. After all, seeing that all manufacturers are enjoying the advertising business, Apple will inevitably have this little idea~

Let's take a look at Xiaomi Group's advertising business revenue in 2021, which reached 18.1 billion yuan, and Tencent's advertising business revenue in 2021 reached 88.6 billion yuan, etc. This cake is so delicious that I would want to share a piece if I were to change to Apple.

According to people familiar with the matter, Apple has increased its advertising efforts in its own systems and application software such as iOS 16, and the display forms mainly involve applications such as news, stocks, and App Store.

Moreover, Apple’s annual advertising revenue used to be around 4 billion U.S. dollars, and now they have raised their target to 10 billion U.S. dollars. If you say that the gap has only increased a little, no one will believe the amount. They will only know from the bottom of their hearts: iOS 16 will probably be full of advertisements!

If you want to disable the ad function, do you believe that you will not receive ads after disabling it? It's just like buying a membership to watch a video, in order to skip the ads, but you never expected that there would be member-only ads?

So the question is, will the price of the upcoming iPhone 14 series go down? If the price goes up as originally said, coupled with the current surge in advertising, how many Apple fans will be willing to buy it?

In fact, in my opinion, the current economic environment is indeed not optimistic, and adding advertisements to increase revenue is a helpless method. But even if Apple's iOS system is excellent, it still needs to "care" for its reputation and consider whether such a surge in advertisements will cause disgust among Apple fans, otherwise it would be a pity to lose the big picture while gaining the small details.
