31 provinces with low wages: Which provinces have wages exceeding 2,000 yuan in 2020

The minimum wage standard is related to everyone’s wallet. Especially during the epidemic, it plays a "safety net" role in providing basic living for low-income people. Recently, many provinces have increased unemployment insurance benefits, and the minimum wage standard is directly "linked" to unemployment insurance benefits.

As of now, Qinghai, Fujian and Guangxi have announced an increase in the minimum wage standards. Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin will not make any adjustments this year due to the epidemic. Other provinces have not yet announced the news.

According to the rankings, the monthly minimum wage standards (referring to the first-tier standards, the same below) in six provinces, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong, Tianjin, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, exceed 2,000 yuan, and Shanghai ranks first in the country with a standard of 2,480 yuan.

Guangxi, Fujian and Qinghai have raised the minimum wage standards this year, while Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai have temporarily suspended adjustments

Judging from the latest adjustment dynamics, Fujian, Qinghai and Guangxi have raised their minimum wage standards in 2020, while Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin have stated that due to the epidemic, adjustments will be postponed this year.

The Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced on the morning of July 15 that, in view of the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic on the economy and society, after joint research by the Beijing Tripartite Committee on Labor Relations, the city's minimum wage standard for 2020 will be temporarily suspended. The monthly minimum wage for full-time employees will continue to be RMB 2,200, the hourly minimum wage for part-time employees will continue to be RMB 24, and the hourly minimum wage for part-time employees on statutory holidays will continue to be RMB 56.

The Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau stated on June 19 that in consideration of the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the economy and society, after joint research by the city's tripartite labor relations committee, the city's minimum wage standard will not be adjusted in 2020. The monthly minimum wage standard for full-time workers will continue to be 2,480 yuan, and the hourly minimum wage standard for part-time workers will continue to be 22 yuan.
