2020 Tour Guide Certificate Examination Time Confirmed Tour Guide Qualification Certificate Registration Time Entry Query

The General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a notice: According to the Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China, the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides and the Notice on Improving the Administrative Approval of the Issuance of Tour Guide Qualification Certificates (Travel Office [2015] No. 202), the 2020 National Tour Guide Qualification Examination is scheduled to be held on November 14, 2020. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Application Requirements (a) Citizens of the People's Republic of China;
(2) Having a diploma from a senior high school, a secondary vocational school or above;
(3) Good health;
(iv) Have basic knowledge and language skills to meet the needs of a tour guide.
2. Registration Procedure: Registration for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination is conducted online. The registration procedure includes four steps: submitting registration information, reviewing registration information, paying fees and downloading admission tickets.
1. Submit registration information
From 9:00 on August 20, 2020 to 17:00 on September 14, 2020, candidates can submit their registration information through the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Online Registration System. The URL is (National Tourism Supervision Service Platform - National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Registration Portal). Candidates must upload a recent 1-inch bare-head ID photo with a white background that meets the requirements, a scanned copy of their ID card (including both sides, the test date must be within the validity period of the ID card), a scanned copy of their academic certificate and fill in the information. For specific requirements for uploading materials, please refer to the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Online Registration System. Candidates are not allowed to register repeatedly in multiple locations.
