Since many functions of WeChat for Business are still in the internal testing stage, the functions and rules are often changing. Therefore, if there is any conflict between the content of this article and the official description, the official release shall prevail. 1. Registration and CertificationHow many times have you registered for WeChat Business? 1. The same ID card can be used to register 5 corporate WeChat accounts; 2. The same mobile phone number can be used to register 5 corporate WeChat accounts; 3. The same corporate entity certificate can be used to register 5 corporate WeChat accounts. Is it necessary to authenticate WeChat for business? If authentication is not performed, many functions will be restricted, especially the inability to communicate with WeChat, so authentication is required. Authorization verification through WeChat official account You need to use a WeChat public account that has been authenticated by the same enterprise/institution for authorization and verification. One public account can only verify one corporate WeChat account, and there is no need to submit information or pay a 300 yuan review service fee. 2. Verify by submitting information Different entity types need to submit different certification materials. You can choose according to the type of organization displayed on the "Organization Code Certificate" and provide corresponding qualification materials. This method requires an audit service fee of 300 yuan/year. How to apply for multiple company abbreviations? The company's abbreviation will be displayed in employees' external information presentations and is a symbol of the company's brand image. Many companies have multiple brands, and WeChat for Business also supports the application of multiple corporate abbreviations. 1. You can apply for up to 5 company abbreviations; (may be optimized later) 2. The first abbreviation set is the default abbreviation of the enterprise. The company's internal information, such as My Company and Startup Page, displays the default abbreviation; 3. The addition or removal of the company's abbreviation must be completed through the corporate WeChat authentication process; 4. Currently, some industries do not support the customer contact function, namely (that is, customers select the government and education industries when registering, and education includes kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, higher education, and others). Registered companies can make a judgment in [My Company] - [Company Information] - [Industry Type]. The industry type can only be modified once. If the enterprise belongs to an industry that is not currently supported, the problem can be solved by modifying the industry type. If the industry type has been modified, please pay attention to the update of the enterprise WeChat version. 2. External contacts (WeChat friends)Are there any requirements for adding external contacts in WeChat Enterprise? Enterprise WeChat needs to be authenticated and employee accounts need to be verified with real names before WeChat accounts can be added as friends. Can WeChat for Business actively add external contacts? It is possible but not recommended. WeChat Work currently has three ways to actively add external contacts: 1. Actively search for the customer's mobile phone number and send a friend request. The customer will receive an invitation in the service notification, but still needs to scan the QR code to add the corporate WeChat friend; 2. You can add WeChat friends in the bound WeChat account. Customers will receive an invitation in the service notification, but they still need to scan the code to add corporate WeChat friends; 3. In a group chat that includes WeChat customers, you can actively apply to add customers as friends. Customers will receive the application in the address book and can pass the friend verification without scanning the code; It is not recommended to use WeChat for Business to actively and batch add friends! Like WeChat, Enterprise WeChat still has frequency and quantity restrictions on actively adding friends (the specific restrictions are currently unknown). If the restrictions are reached or there are complaints from customers, the use of functions will be restricted. Are there any restrictions on passively adding friends on WeChat for Business? There are also limits on passively adding friends. One account can passively add about 300 to 500 people per day. When adding external contacts on WeChat for Business, can the source channels be counted? Enterprise WeChat itself does not have the function of channel source statistics, it can only count which member added the customer. Is there an upper limit on adding external contacts in WeChat for Business? The default customer capacity for a single member within an enterprise is 5W, which can be expanded to 25W. The customer capacity of the entire enterprise is unlimited. 3. External InformationHow to change the display of external information? In the enterprise WeChat app, select [Me] - [External Business Card] - [Edit button in the upper right corner] - [External Information] to make changes. If you want to modify the position, the administrator needs to modify the members in the address book on the management side. How can I change the short name displayed externally? The modification, addition and deletion of the abbreviation need to be completed through authentication operation, and the changes can be made in [Enterprise WeChat Management Backend] - [My Enterprise] - [Verification Subject Information]. If multiple abbreviations have been authenticated, the administrator can modify the abbreviation that members need to display externally in the address book on the management side. How to display a custom nickname instead of a name on WeChat? Just fill in the alias in the enterprise WeChat APP and set the alias to be displayed externally. 4. TagsWhat is the difference between corporate customer tags and personal tags? Enterprise customer tags are created by enterprise administrators and are visible to all employees. They are suitable for content with unified standards, such as gender, old customers, VIP, etc. Personal tags are created by employees and are visible only to the employee and the administrator. They are suitable for personalized content, similar to adding notes for customers. 5. Customer BaseHow to add external group chat in WeChat Enterprise? PC version: Click the plus sign in the upper right corner of the message bar, click My Clients, and select multiple items; Mobile version: Click Add in the upper right corner of the message bar, click Start Group Chat, select My Clients, and select multiple items; When inviting new members (customers) to join the group, can I see the chat history before joining the group? Yes, you need to manually check it. When inviting new members to join the group, members can choose whether to synchronize previous chat records with customers. What is the upper limit of the number of people that can chat in an external WeChat enterprise group? The default capacity is 20 people, which can be upgraded to 100 people. Upgrade rules: The enterprise needs to be certified and the number of employees using WeChat for Business every day is greater than 50. I have upgraded the group chat limit, but can I still only add 20 people? If the group chat is created by an external contact and includes corporate WeChat members, the upper limit of the number of participants is still 20. 6. Mass SendingWhat are the rules for corporate WeChat group messaging? WeChat group messages for enterprises are divided into two types: personal group messages and enterprise group messages. The rules for customers to receive the two types of group messages do not affect each other: Personal group messaging: Each customer can receive a personal group message from a company member once a day. Company members can operate in [Enterprise WeChat APP] - [Workbench] - [Customer Contact] - [Group Message Assistant]; Enterprise mass messaging: Each customer can receive an enterprise mass messaging once every natural week. Enterprise administrators can operate in [Enterprise WeChat APP] - [Workbench] - [Customer Contact] - [Mass Message Assistant], or in [Enterprise WeChat Management Backstage] - [Customer Contact] - [Configuration] - [Mass Message Assistant]. The enterprise group messaging function of WeChat for Business does not support multi-dimensional screening of customers and cannot achieve accurate push notifications. However, using the enterprise group messaging function of Huzan SCRM, you can filter customers based on multiple dimensions and then send group messages, which can reach more accurately and provide better user experience. Can I only send one message at a time? You can send a combination of text + pictures/web pages/mini programs, that is, you can send two messages. 7. Customer circle of friendsHow to open a customer circle of friends? The customer circle of friends is currently an internal beta feature. To activate it, at least the following hard requirements must be met: the company must be certified and the number of employees using WeChat for Business must be greater than 50 per day. In addition, members adding more external contacts and contacting them more frequently can help companies pass the review faster. What are the restrictions on sending messages to customers via WeChat Moments? Every customer can receive a customer circle of friends sent by a company member every day. The external contact will no longer be able to see the customer circle of friends sent by the employee within one week. Why can't external contacts see customer Moments posted by company members? First, you need to check whether the other party’s WeChat version is the latest version, and secondly, whether you have never had a conversation with the contact. These two reasons will prevent external contacts from viewing the customer Moments sent by members. 8. PaymentHow does WeChat Work collect payments from external contacts? Enterprise WeChat has its own payment code support function, which requires the administrator to activate and configure it in [Enterprise WeChat Management Backend] - [Application Management] - [WeChat Payment]. Can WeChat for Business send red envelopes to external contacts? WeChat Work itself does not support direct payments to external contacts. IX. Risk ControlHow to enable conversation archiving in WeChat for Business? This function is an internal test function and is currently in a state of directional opening. Enabling the conversation archiving function can save chat records between all employees and customers within the company for 7 days. The fee is 300 yuan/number/year, and a one-month free trial is available. Enterprise administrators log in to the [Administrative Backend] and if they see the [Conversation Content Archiving] function in the [Administrative Tools] column, they can activate it. What are the rules for using session archives? After activation, when a member initiates a conversation with an external contact, a service prompt will be automatically sent to ask whether the customer agrees to archive the chat. If the customer does not take any action, it will be assumed to agree. The customer can also choose not to agree, in which case the customer's chat history will not be stored. The conversation archiving function only provides an API interface, and Enterprise WeChat itself cannot view the saved records. How to transfer customers when employees leave? Enterprise administrators can allocate assets to resigned members in [Enterprise WeChat Management Backstage] - [Customer Contact] - [Configuration] - [Assign Resigned Members]. 10. Mini ProgramsHow to bind WeChat for Business to a mini program? First of all, the company needs to have a WeChat mini program that has been reviewed and published on the WeChat public platform. Enterprise administrators can associate mini programs in [Enterprise WeChat Management Backend] - [Application Management] - [Mini Programs].
