1. Has the Qingdao epidemic been lifted in 2022?

At present, Qingdao has not yet fully lifted the lockdown, and many districts and cities still have lockdown and control areas. The control areas that have no new local confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections for 14 consecutive days are gradually being unsealed. The following is the latest news about the unblocking:

1. Huangdao District: From 0:00 on March 16, 2022, Ganshuiwan Community, No. 53 Jiulongjiang Road, Huangdao District, will be adjusted from a medium-risk area to a low-risk area and the blockade will be lifted.

2. Pingdu City: As of March 19, two rounds of nucleic acid testing had been completed in Sunshine Garden Community, and the results were all negative. After evaluation by the city’s expert group, it was decided to lift the blockade of areas except Unit 2, Building 16, Sunshine Garden from March 19.

2. Can people go out freely in Qingdao in 2022?

Can't. There is still an epidemic in Qingdao. The closed areas are under regional lockdown and people are not allowed to leave their homes and services are provided at their doorsteps. In the temporary control area, people are not allowed to leave the area and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

3. The latest regulations on entry and exit of Qingdao in 2022

1. Leave Qingdao

On March 12, 2022, Qingdao issued a notice on further improving the current epidemic prevention and control work, which mentioned:

Do not leave Qingdao unless necessary. If you really need to leave Qingdao, you must have a green health code and a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.

Strictly restrict travel to medium- and high-risk areas and the counties (cities, districts) where they are located. Do not travel to other counties (cities, districts) in prefecture-level cities where medium- and high-risk areas are located unless necessary;

Those in high-risk positions should avoid traveling as much as possible. Those who really need to travel must have been away from work for more than 14 days and hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours, and report to their work unit;

Patients with fever, people with yellow health codes, and other people must fulfill their personal protection responsibilities, actively cooperate with health monitoring and nucleic acid testing, and not travel until the risk of infection has been eliminated.

Note: If you really need to travel to other places, it is recommended that you do your homework and understand the relevant policies and regulations of the destination in advance.

2. Enter Qingdao

People from medium- and high-risk areas are advised to postpone their visit to Qingdao. If they really need to come to Qingdao, they will need to undergo 14 days of centralized quarantine and 7 days of home health monitoring upon arrival.

People from counties (cities, districts, banners) in medium- and high-risk areas are advised to postpone their travel to Qingdao. Those who really need to come to Qingdao will undergo seven days of centralized quarantine and seven days of home health monitoring upon arrival.

People from other counties (cities, districts, banners) in prefecture-level cities where medium- and high-risk areas are located should not come to Qingdao unless necessary. Those who really need to come to Qingdao must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours and undergo a nucleic acid test upon arrival.

People who have traveled to land border port cities in the past 14 days are required to bring a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours and undergo a nucleic acid test upon arrival.

The districts of municipalities directly under the central government correspond to prefecture-level cities, and the streets (towns) correspond to counties (cities, districts, banners). Please refer to this for implementation.

In short, Qinghai has not yet been completely unsealed and people are not allowed to enter and exit freely. Please consciously abide by the epidemic prevention and control regulations!
