01. Of course soup is nutritious

In fact, soup is certainly nutritious. It is nonsense to say that it has no nutritional value.

For example, the nutritionist in the health program did not say that "the soup has no nutritional value", but rather that the soup has no magical nutritional effects, which is completely different from the soup having no nutritional value.

In fact, let alone soup, even the "junk food" that many people mention is nutritious. What is not nutritious is water?

Of course, it is not ruled out that some people insist on saying "drinking soup has no nutrition" without paying attention to any context. Em, I personally think that this lacks the basic rigor of a professional.

If you go back thirty years, or even earlier, junk food was definitely a holy grail on earth, and drinking soup was also a way to enjoy life. For example, soup is a good choice for those who are bedridden for a long time or have indigestion (of course, it is better to supplement nutrition according to needs in hospitals or clinics); for example, carbohydrates and fats that many people oppose are definitely much better than protein powder for people who do physical work.

02. So why are we asking these questions now?

The main reason is that many people nowadays suffer from overnutrition.

A typical example is the global obesity epidemic.

More and more people are becoming obese, and obesity itself brings various health risks.

In this situation, for many people, controlling nutritional intake has become an important way to stay healthy.

This is why concepts such as "junk food" have emerged. The same is true for soup, because soup is high in fat and salt, and it is easy to consume a lot of soup, which results in further increased nutrition and promotes obesity.

So, drinking soup is nutritious, of course, but if you are overnourished, it is better to drink less soup.
