Yiche: China's auto brand sales in November 2024 are released, BYD, Volkswagen and Toyota rank in the top three

Recently, Yiche released the sales ranking of automobile brands in the Chinese market in November 2024. BYD, Volkswagen and Toyota ranked the top three, with sales of 398,407, 203,506 and 157,383 respectively. In the cumulative sales from January to November, BYD continued to lead with 3,152,258 vehicles, while Volkswagen and Toyota sold 1,834,205 and 1,402,623 vehicles respectively.

From the rankings, we can see that domestic brands also performed very well in November. Geely Auto's sales reached 123,084 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.15%, ranking fourth; Wuling Auto's sales were 111,709 units, a year-on-year increase of 41.39%; Changan Auto's sales were 79,234 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.73%; Chery Auto's sales were 69,774 units, a year-on-year increase of 60.71%.

Among the new power brands, Ideal Auto and Leapmotor performed particularly well. Ideal Auto sold 48,743 vehicles in November, up 18.8% year-on-year; Leapmotor sold 38,850 vehicles, up 109.91% year-on-year.

At the same time, sales of traditional luxury brands declined in November. BMW sold 54,580 units, down 15.89% year-on-year; Audi sold 53,500 units, down 13.02% year-on-year; and Mercedes-Benz sold only 49,817 units.

In addition, brands such as Aion, Geely Galaxy, GAC Trumpchi, Lynk & Co, Xpeng, Zeekr, Deep Blue Auto, Xiaomi Auto, Bestune, Tank, NIO, Ford, Roewe, Volvo, Changan Qiyuan, Changan Oshan, Avita, Chery New Energy, Beijing and Xingtu are ranked 20th to 40th on the Chinese market automobile brand sales list.
