In the latest preview version of the Creator Update (15042), an option that only allows the installation of store apps has appeared. That is, clicking on the local exe will be blocked from installation, and the prompt will jump to the store search. This looks very much like part of the rumored Windows 10 Cloud operating system interface, but it is unclear why it appeared in the Creator Update. But as we all know, the Redmond giant is working hard to promote UWP , so all the signs do not seem too surprising.
