An article to show you 20 new changes in iOS 12 Beta 5

A few days ago, Apple released the iOS 12 beta 5 test system. After our continuous experience, we have collected a lot of detailed changes in this update.

Here is the complete update:

1. The control center button is now darker and looks more comfortable than before.

2. The saturation of the wallpaper increases, and the edges of the earth wallpaper seem to have a blue halo.

3. Apple Music can search for song titles by lyrics, but sorry, I use NetEase Cloud Music.

4. A new startup image has been added to the Photos app.

5. All media types in photos are matched with new icons.

6. Screen Time adds "Share between devices", which means that the screen time limit you set on your iPhone will also be synced to your iPad and other devices.

7. In Screen Time, "Turn off screen time" and "Set screen time for family" have swapped positions.

8. "Set Screen Time for Family" has been deleted from "Screen Time", see the picture above (still under "Apple ID" - "Family Sharing").

9.The list of third-party data sources in the Apple Watch app has been deleted. Sorry, I don’t have an Apple Watch, so I can’t demonstrate it to you.

10. The text for Clear All Notifications is smaller. Doesn’t this make it harder to press visually?

11. The word "beta" has been removed from the battery health in settings, but why does my battery need to be repaired again?

12. The stock widget can show more stocks. Why are you only looking at Apple's stock? Do you have a mine at home?

13. The News app icon has been updated, but the Apple News app is not currently available in the Chinese region.

14. There is new haptic feedback on iPhone X when closing all apps.

15. New AirPods animation, AirPods charging box may be coming soon (pay close attention to the green indicator light on the left side of the animation).

16. FaceTime has a new connection/disconnection sound effect, although not many users in China use FaceTime.

17. The text description in the HomePod connection animation has been modified, and it may be possible to make calls through HomePod in the future.

18. The App Store User Center has added personalized recommendations, which will provide you with personalized recommendations based on your subscriptions, purchased software and games, ratings and reviews.

19. The description text of iPhone X's facial recognition changes from "Scanning with Face ID" to "Face ID". Why is there no picture? Because I don't have an iPhone X.

20. The leaked code shows that the new iPhone will support dual SIM dual standby, but it has nothing to do with me. I can’t afford a single SIM card, and I can’t afford a dual SIM card. Is that right?

iOS 12 beta 5 was released alongside the latest beta versions of watchOS 5, macOS Mojave, and tvOS 12. Apple is expected to release the official versions of all system versions this fall, possibly alongside new iPhones and iPads.
