When reading articles, browsing Weibo or watching videos, many people like to comment/leave messages under articles or videos to express their own views and feelings. On the one hand, user comments/leave messages can increase the popularity of articles or videos, giving the works a chance to gain higher exposure . On the other hand, it can expand the thinking of article authors and readers, and see different views and opinions expressed by different readers on the topic of the article, which is helpful for the improvement and expansion of subsequent article writing. You will find that many platforms have a comment section at the bottom of articles, and support interactive replies between users. The only difference is the comment section of WeChat public account articles. Some public accounts support leaving messages on their articles, but readers cannot reply to others’ comments. Some public accounts do not even have a message function, so readers cannot find a place to express their opinions. However, WeChat is finally going to make changes to the article comment area, and the new function has entered the testing phase. Currently, WeChat has been testing the public account article comment function on a small scale. The new function will support users to reply to each other's comments. For example, after user A posts a comment, user B can reply, and other users can also participate in the interaction, similar to the comment building on community websites. Official account authors can choose to turn this feature on or off for a single article. If it is off, it will show that the article does not support replies. After turning on this feature, comments between users will be automatically displayed on the wall, without the need for the author to select them. Reply content is visible to everyone, and the author can delete inappropriate comments. Lei Technology learned that the public accounts applied for before February 12, 2018, support the message function at the bottom of the article by default, and the public accounts applied for later no longer support it. Although the message function can be obtained by migrating the public account or mini program, it is more troublesome for self-media authors. Moreover, the current message function of WeChat only supports authors to select or reply in the background, and the lack of interaction between readers may reduce the enthusiasm for reading. However, the new WeChat function has the potential to support interactive message functions, and the article comment area should be much more lively at that time, but this is not all a good thing. After the article comment area is opened, there may be a lot of inappropriate and vulgar comments, and the operator needs to delete them in time, which increases the workload to a certain extent. Inappropriate comments may also affect other people's reading experience, and even lead to "mutual spraying" in the comment area. It can be seen that the pros and cons of this feature are relatively large, which may be one of the reasons why WeChat has not launched it for so many years. Now that the feature has finally started testing, perhaps WeChat has found a more compromising solution. Let's look forward to the launch of the new feature together. |
