WeChat quietly launches a new feature: videos can be used as Moments covers

Have you noticed? WeChat Moments can now have video covers . Currently, the iOS version of WeChat (version 8.0.10) is online, and the Android 8.0.11 beta version has also been tested in grayscale.

When browsing other people’s Moments homepages, you can click on the cover at the top to view the complete video content.

At the same time, click on your own cover and then select "Change Cover" to select a video cover, with a maximum supported length of 30 seconds.

There are currently four ways to select videos:

1. Select from mobile phone album

2. Select from WeChat Video Account

3. Take a temporary photo

4. Use Photographer’s Works

In addition, the new version of WeChat has changed the incoming and outgoing call interfaces, with larger icons and fonts, more centered avatars, and darker background colors. And by clicking the "Ringtone" button in the upper right corner of the call, you can also view the name of the exclusive ringtone set for you by the other party.

The pinned icons for WeChat chats have also been adjusted, and when there are 10 pinned chats, they will be collapsed.
