iOS 15.2 is here! Lots of new features, check it out!

iOS15.2 official version is coming

If you upgrade from the previous official version, the iOS15.2 official version update package is about 900MB, and the version number after the update becomes: 19C56 | 19C57 (iPhone13 series).

As a major version update, iOS15.2 did not disappoint. It has many new feature updates and finally launched the electrocardiogram function that Apple Watch users love.

1. Added privacy report function

Now you can go to Settings - Privacy - Privacy Report to directly see the permission usage of each app.

We can now directly see what information each application has viewed while in use and what it has secretly done in the background.

2. iCloud+ hidden email function is enabled

Now users can use the email privacy protection function normally. The system will randomly generate a string of email addresses to disguise your real email address.

This approach can prevent some criminals from tracking your email activities and will not affect your sending and receiving emails.

3. Apple Legacy Features Enabled

In the previous version, Apple added the Apple Legacy feature. As the name suggests, users can leave their Apple devices and data to their relatives and friends after they die.

Now this feature has been officially enabled. Users can now add their own legacy contacts in the security of their Apple ID. This contact can view your account data after you fail.

4. Find new app features

Now in the Find app, when you slide up the item interface, Apple has added two new features: "Track My Items" and "Assist with Physical Returns".

As the name suggests, the Track My Items feature can help you scan whether there is someone nearby who maliciously places a device next to you to track your location and itinerary. After scanning, Apple will also teach you how to disable tracking.

The assisted return function allows you to scan nearby items to assist in tracking after picking up someone else's device, allowing the owner to locate it more quickly.

5. Emergency call function adjustment

The emergency call function now has a new calling method. First, press and hold the volume button and the power button at the same time for a few seconds, and the emergency SOS slider will pop up. If you keep pressing it, an emergency call will be automatically dialed for help after eight seconds.

And now there is a new option to quickly enter the emergency automatic call function by pressing the power button 5 times in a row.

6. Macro mode update

After this update, the iPhone 13 series can enter the settings camera to see the macro mode switch. By default, the system will automatically switch to macro mode when the camera is close to an object.

In addition, when you enter macro mode, a small flower will appear in the lower left corner of the camera interface, indicating that macro is on. You can also click on the flower to turn off macro mode.

7. Added restriction on IP address tracking

In Settings - Cellular Network - Cellular Data Options, you can see the Limit IP Address Tracking function under Low Data Function.

As the name suggests, after turning on this feature, the application will not be able to track you through your IP network address and send accurate advertisements.

8. Added map lane change reminder

Now in some areas, when using the built-in map navigation, detailed lane change prompt arrows, isolation belts, bicycle lanes and sidewalks and other complex displays will be displayed.

Please note that this function is only available in some cities. We cannot use it in Nanchang, so we can only find pictures on the Internet.

9. Added parts replacement records

Now in About This Mac, you can see a new "Parts and Service History" entrance, which will display the replacement record after the user replaces the accessories.

However, it only supports display on some devices. For example, devices such as iPhoneXR and XS can only display battery replacement records, while iPhone12 and 13 can display battery, screen, and camera replacement records.

10. The Chinese version of the watch supports the electrocardiogram function

This time, Apple also released the official version of watchOS 8.3. After updating, smartwatch users can see the ECG electrocardiogram function!

This functional hardware actually already exists on the Apple Watch 4, but due to domestic regulations, this feature has not been officially enabled for more than three years.

11.Apple Music voice control solution

In this update, Apple stated that this version has joined the Apple Music voice control solution package, but it does not seem to be officially used yet.

The voice control plan is different from the current Apple Music subscription payment. The Apple Music voice control plan only costs 5 yuan per month, but it only supports Siri listening to music and is suitable for HomePod users.

12. SMS secure communication scanning enabled

Now Apple servers and local devices will intelligently scan the photo content in received text messages. If a child's device receives indecent content, the system will automatically blur it and display a warning.

13. Focus mode adjustment

In the settings, the previous "Focus" function has been changed to a more complete "Focus Mode", which adds the function of hiding notification badges in focus mode, and adds more detailed explanations to the function.

14. Apple Music supports list search

The Apple Music app now supports the search function in the playlist, and you can now see the search bar above the playlist list.

15. Reminders app adjustments

Now in the Reminders app, users can delete or rename reminder tags in batches.

Overall, the iOS 15.2 update contains a lot of content, which is the largest update in the iOS 15 system so far, and it does have many new features that can be used in daily life.
