Redemption codes can only be generated when the application is in the "Ready for Sale", "Pending Developer Release" and "Pending an Apple Release" status. Redemption codes cannot be generated while the app is in the "Processing for App Store" state. After going through a few steps to agree to Apple's relevant contracts, you can then download a file containing the redemption code. Generating redemption codes through iTunes Connect is slow, but there is a better way. I have been using a software called Tokens, and I highly recommend developers to use this software. It is a native Mac application that generates redemption codes for you in the background. Tokens can also track the usage of redemption codes, which can better let you know whether the media contacts have used your redemption code, experienced your game or redemption code. Using redemption codes is very beneficial Redemption codes provide a great way for media editors to get your apps. By the time your app is released, media editors will already have some knowledge and understanding of your application. Redemption codes are an essential element for a successful app launch. You should use the accumulated redemption codes as much as possible. If you have a large number of redundant redemption codes, you should distribute them in as many channels as possible to find users who may be interested in your app. You can distribute redemption codes in several ways: 1. Provide journalists with redemption codes so they can use your app as soon as possible and schedule a release date. 2. Provide redemption codes to influential people.
