The "2019 China University Evaluation Research Report - China College Entrance Examination Application Guide (Alumni Association Edition)" compiled by the AIRS China Alumni Association Network and published by Science Press released the 2019 comprehensive competitiveness rankings of universities in various regions of China. The report shows that among the top 700 Chinese universities in 2019 by the latest AIRS China Alumni Association, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Shenzhen University, Jinan University, South China Normal University, South China Agricultural University, Southern Medical University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Guangzhou University and Guangdong University of Technology are among the top 10 in the Alumni Association's 2019 Guangdong Province University Comprehensive Strength Ranking. Shenzhen University, South China Normal University and South China Agricultural University ranked in the top three of the Alumni Association's 2019 Guangdong Provincial University Rankings, and three provincial universities were among the top 100 universities in the country in 2019.

In the Alumni Association's 2019 China Private University Rankings, Guangzhou Business University, Guangdong Baiyun University, Guangdong University of Science and Technology, Guangdong Peizheng University, and Guangdong Polytechnic Institute ranked in the top 5 of the Alumni Association's 2019 Guangdong Province Private University Comprehensive Strength Rankings.

"2019 China University Evaluation Research Report - China College Entrance Examination Application Guide (Alumni Association Edition)" was written by Zhao Deguo, Cai Yanhou, Dang Yaru, Wang Lingfeng, Liu Ming and Cai Li from the China Alumni Association of the AIRS Research Institute. It will be officially published and distributed by Science Press in May 2019. The book includes the 2019 comprehensive strength rankings, star rankings (best university rankings), undergraduate major rankings, and university and major rankings in provinces, cities and districts of 1,325 undergraduate universities in both sides of the Taiwan Straits and Hong Kong and Macao.
