In the past two days, many friends have reported that they cannot open the App Store normally. Specifically, there is a probability that the app cannot be opened in both WiFi and 4G environments, and the affected iOS systems include iOS 8.1/8.2/8.3/9.3, etc. Users are unable to open the App Store, which means that some users are unable to download apps normally. The most intuitive manifestation for CPs is the sharp drop in daily new activations. The following figures show the performance of new player data for a certain product. Figure 1 shows the activation data for the past 7 days. There was a cliff-like decline in activations on April 18 and 19. Figure 2 shows the activation data for the past 30 days. Apple server abnormality Recently, Apple servers have frequently experienced abnormalities: the App Store cannot be opened, apps cannot be downloaded normally, and apps that have passed review cannot be put online normally, etc. 1. App Store cannot be opened When opening the App Store in a wifi or 4G environment, "502 Bad Gateway" appears, which means an error gateway (meaning: the server is acting as a gateway or proxy to satisfy the client's request to access the requested URL, and this server received an invalid response from the upstream server to fulfill its request.) If this problem occurs, there are two possibilities: (1) your ISP (ISP: Internet Service Provider, Internet Service Provider, is a telecommunications operator that provides Internet access services, information services, and value-added services to a large number of users) has a major equipment failure/overload. This is the fundamental reason why some users perform differently in WiFi and 4G environments. (2) There is a problem with the internal Internet connection, such as your firewall not functioning properly. Judging from the current information feedback, there are no signs of major adjustments to the Chinese firewall. (3) The server's own cache storage has response problems, which is more sporadic. It means that there is an interruption between the two after the link is established, resulting in the inability to continue downloading the existing tasks. It may be a problem with the ISP or it may be a problem with the Apple server itself. 3 Apps that have passed the review cannot be launched normally. On April 15, many CPs appeared one after another. After the application passed the review, the product was not launched after clicking the launch button, and some lasted as long as 48 hours. Normally it can be completed within 6 hours.
