Because when I was doing a 5S management consulting project in Quanzhou, Fujian, I wrote the project diary in a serialized form. I wrote 20 articles in a row and am still writing. It contains the specific operations on how to advance this project, with both pictures and texts, and is very realistic.

Why do I write a project diary? Many of my peers would like to keep their project methods a secret, but I make them public.

Wang Tong said that as long as you dare to write, someone will dare to read it = someone will pay for it.

So I tried writing it. Today I came here on a business trip. The client invited me here after reading my diary.

Today I was on the train and found that people kept adding me on WeChat.

In our business, it is enough to take on a few projects a year, because the fee for one project starts at hundreds of thousands.

The core words of the project were bought out for 10 yuan or even dozens of yuan when promoted on Baidu, which is super expensive. Being able to obtain 50 precise traffics is of great value to me. Because you may have to serve one customer for several years.

I have made a lot of websites, probably about 10 at the moment (in my spare time).

Many words, including those with an index of 3000, can make it to Baidu’s homepage.

But there are not many people who click through to the website, even fewer who stay on the website, and even fewer who convert.

2. Mobile Era

In the era of mobile Internet, posts must be written for users to see. I did the same thing. I persisted in writing more than 20 original articles, but they didn’t get much reading or attention (see the data in the figure above).

I am reflecting and summarizing. What do users really need?

Then I added a lot of WeChat public accounts to see what articles with a readership of over 100,000 were like.

I pay special attention to the official account of Professor Who Plays with Cars. This guy is pretty awesome and I have always been following him. From 0 to a valuation of over 100 million.

After reading it, I summarized it again.

Articles with more than 100,000 views are composed of text + pictures + videos

And the text does not account for a large proportion, but there are many pictures and videos.

In the mobile Internet, mobile phone screens are not very big, and it is difficult to read a lot of text.

So try to turn text into pictures.

After this summary, I wrote another article "Tool 5S Management-50 Illustrations" to verify it.

As a result, it unexpectedly received more than 50,000 reads, more than 4,000 collections, and 1,000 reposts.

And I haven't used much inductive language here, because I was just in the mindset of giving it a try, haha, I didn't expect it to explode all of a sudden.

Mobile Internet articles must be read by customers, resonate with them, and be naturally forwarded.

Summary 2: How to write an article

Concept + Good Case + Bad Case = Initial Solution

Concept: When writing an article, you need to culturalize the concept map and simplify it. The 5S management tool in our industry is called trace management. So what exactly is the tracking method? I have divided it into categories at the beginning of the article, including the lowest level, elementary level, intermediate level, and advanced level. This may require a high level of professionalism. I have been doing it for more than 7 years and it is easy for me to summarize it. Let people understand it at a glance, and then describe the loss if it is not done well!

Good example: I found dozens of pictures for display, which gave viewers a visual impact.

Bad cases: I put some bad cases at the bottom of the article and added some word comments, so that users can see the good ones and then the bad ones, forming a sharp contrast.

Remember to try your best to convert the information into pictures and videos. Why is UFO One Minute so popular? It’s because the animated pictures are attractive. Imagine if a UFO was turned into an article in one minute, pure text, would it be so popular? Absolutely not.

The recommended rules for Toutiao ranking are forwarding + collection + commenting. These data will increase the exposure of the recommendation. Because the articles I posted before were also original articles, these data were almost non-existent, and the number of readers was also very small.
