The registration process for an Apple developer account is quite complicated. Let me share the process and details with you to avoid you taking detours. 1. Log in to the Apple Developer website https://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/ 2. Click the "enroll now $99/year" button (as shown below) 3. Click the "continue" button on the pop-up introduction page (as shown below) 4. The next page allows you to choose to use an existing Apple account (Existing Apple ID) or create a new Apple account (New Apple ID) to register as a developer. You can choose according to your needs. If you already have an account, it will save you some steps. Because the company needs it, I clicked "Create Apple ID" 5. The next page is the registration page for a new Apple ID (if you already have an account, you can skip this step). It is best to write the first name and last name in pinyin as shown on your ID card. Because when you track the problem through the customer service line, they will also prompt you to make changes. In short, the authenticity of information is more important than anything else. Then fill in the basic information, password settings and so on. Required information for applying for an account: first name/lastname/apple id/password/confirmpassword/three security questions and answers/select date of birth/country/address/town/province/check agree/enter the picture to display the verification code/then you can click create Apple ID. After that, you need to go to the email and click the link to verify it. After verification, the page will prompt you to log in. 6. After logging in, the next page allows you to choose whether to register as an individual developer (Individual) or a company developer (Company). I choose Company. 7. Check the following agreement and click Agree to proceed to the next step. 8. Select the account information, including the applicant’s role (such as product manager or technical development)/how long you have been engaged in APP development/your development direction/whether you have other projects, etc. After filling in the form, press the "Register" button at the bottom of the page. 9. Then fill in the company information. Don’t fill it out randomly. It must be consistent with the information on the business license. Apple will find the legal person information corresponding to the company you filled in. (ps: You can write your own or your boss’ phone number here. Apple will call this number later for review. Confirm the legal person and the person who answers the phone should be consistent. The legal person information should be filled in with the real pinyin of the name on the business license) After filling in, click the "continue" button 10. Next, you need to enter some real company information. The items that must be entered here are: organization type (organization type)/legal entity name (the company's English name. It doesn't matter if the business license does not have it in English. Apple will call you for verification later. Just confirm that it is this English name on the phone)/website (homepage)/work email (fill in the email you check every day. Apple will send the application progress to this email)/headquarters number (you can fill in your own mobile phone number, add the country code: 86, and you can leave the extension number blank or use the number of any colleague in the company. Apple will call this number to confirm whether the company information is the same as what you filled in, so be sure to communicate clearly with the person who answers the phone in advance)/duns number. This DEN number also needs to be applied for (see step 11 for the application process or call Apple customer service directly: 4006701855 and they will email the method to you). After filling in the above information, you can click the "continue" button. 11. If your company already has a Duns number, you can skip steps 11-13. If you don't have one, follow the steps below to apply: First, log in to the duns website (link in the references) and enter your company information to see if your company already has a duns number. If you don't find any information, the system will let you choose whether to submit a duns number application. The Dun & Bradstreet code information submitted must be absolutely accurate, because Apple will later verify whether the company information written on the Dun & Bradstreet code is consistent with the business license. Please note that the company information you enter should not include the city name. For example, if your company’s English name is “Shenzhen AAABBB Technology Co., Ltd.”, you should fill in “AAABBB Technology Co., Ltd.” when searching. You can ask dunsnumber to add the word "Shenzhen" when they call you. Because if you fill in the city, you will find a lot of company names with Shenzhen in them. You can't press the next step to apply for a duns number. Please note that you can fill in your own phone number here. duns number The company will call the phone number you filled in the headquarters address of your company organization to confirm your company's full name/registered address/English name and other information. After filling in the information on this page, click the "continue" button at the bottom 12. If the duns number information related to the company you filled in is not found here, the system prompts you whether you want to submit the application. You check the box to agree to the agreement and submit it (as shown in the picture). After submitting the application, the webpage will prompt that you will receive a reply in about 5 working days. In fact, you will receive an email with the duns code acceptance reply the next morning. 13. Wait for about two working days and they will call the headquarters phone number you provided when applying for the duns code to verify the company information. If all the information is correct, your duns code will be sent to your mailbox on the same day. Wait for about three working days if they still haven't called. You can call B&D and they will take care of your duns very efficiently. duns contact 02123213946. I asked customer service and they will call HeadQuarters, so it’s best to fill in your own phone number. The duns number received is 9 digits. 14. After applying for the duns number, wait about three working days and then go to the Apple page to continue registering a developer account. Because I didn’t wait for three working days, the following prompt appeared when I filled in the information: “please review the fields highlighted below. Before resubmitting, please look up your D&B information.” Contact Apple technical customer service at 4006701855. There are two possible reasons for this situation. One is the browser problem, and the other is that the duns encoding data is not synchronized to the Apple database. (Generally, it takes two working days from the time the duns code is applied for to the time the data is synchronized to the Apple database) So you can only wait another two working days. Because I called Apple customer service twice, the Apple customer service lady gave me a tracking number: 304736385. The next time you call customer service, submit this tracking number and the other party will know where you are stuck. Having this tracking number means that they will assist you until your account application is successful. 15. After entering the basic information of your company and duns number, you will be asked to select your project type. I chose the iOS project. When you are finished selecting, click the "continue" button 16. Confirm your information again and click continue if you have no problem. After that, you will receive an email in your mailbox waiting for Apple to review it. 17. Next, you need to wait for Apple to contact your company's legal person to confirm the company information and whether the account applied for registration is applied for by the company's employees. The number they contact will be the contact information of the legal person you filled in previously. After Apple calls the legal representative to confirm the company information, you will receive the following confirmation email. Click on the "Program License Agreement" link in the email 18. Submit after agreeing to the agreement 19. Submit after agreeing to the agreement After submission, go to the payment bank card information filling page and fill in the payment information.
