As a marketing person who works on the front line all year round, I often use H5 production tools . But now there are too many H5 platforms, and I believe everyone has difficulty choosing among so many H5 production tools, and doesn’t know which one is better and more practical. Now, based on my own personal experience, I will share with you the usage experience of the three major mainstream H5 production platforms from five dimensions: free range, number of materials, ease of getting started, data service capabilities, and customer service capabilities. I hope that you can have a clear understanding of these three H5 production platforms, so as to better choose the platform that suits you. 1. Free Scope When choosing an H5 production platform, the first thing that comes to mind is: free. After all, making an H5 scene is a short-term need for most people, and from a psychological point of view, people are not willing to pay. I checked the service descriptions of the three platforms and made a statistical table. Data source: official website of each platform From the table, we can see: (1) The basic editing functions of YiQixiu and MAKA are free, but advanced editing functions require payment. However, all editing functions of TuZhan are free. (2) All three template materials are partially free. (3) In terms of data aggregation, Tuzhan is free, while Yiqixiu and MAKA are both partially free. (4) Regarding review closure reminders and template guarantee services, Tuzhan is free, while Yiqixiu is a paid service. MAKA did not mention this. (5) All three platforms require payment to modify and load the logo and the copyright of the last page. In general, if there is no special need to modify and load the logo and the copyright of the last page, only Tuzhan can be regarded as a truly free H5 production platform. 2. Number of Materials Template Data source: Template centers of various platforms In terms of the number of templates, both iQiyi and TuZhan have a large number of templates, with more than 1,000 templates each. However, based on usage, some of iQiyi's templates are enterprise-exclusive templates that can only be used by corporate users, which is not of much value to individual users; while MAKA is clearly at a disadvantage, with a relatively small number of templates, only 320 templates. In terms of the proportion of free templates, both TuZhan and YiQixiu have a high proportion of free templates, accounting for nearly 70%. The proportion of MAKA's free templates is less than 20%, and most of them are paid templates. It is not recommended for novice users to use MAKA for production because the trial cost is too high and the template support is relatively insufficient. After trying out the templates of various platforms, I found that the templates of iQiyi are mostly picture materials with a low degree of customization, which makes it difficult for novices to start making them. The types of MAKA and Tuzhan templates are relatively balanced and reasonable. Picture material Data source: Production pages of various platforms Yiqixiu provides 11 categories of image materials including background, pictures, enterprises, styles, etc. Tuzhan provides 12 categories of image materials including background, business, rendering, and enterprise; MAKA provides 12 categories of picture materials including background, office, landscape, life, etc. In general, iQiyi, TuZhan and MAKA all provide more than 10 categories of image materials, which are very large in number. There is not much difference between them, and they are all sufficient for novice users. Shape material Data source: Production pages of various platforms Yiqixiu provides three types of shape materials: graphics, text, and icons, with a total of about 450; Rabbit Exhibition provides 8 types of shape materials, including shapes, holiday greetings, business public relations, pattern borders, etc., with a total of about 600 shapes; MAKA provides 12 shape elements. In terms of shape materials, Tuzhan provides the largest number of materials, about 600, followed by Yiqixiu, about 450, while MAKA provides very few, only 12 shape elements. The size and color of these shape materials can be changed freely. Among them, Tuzhan and Yiqixiu also provide shape materials with a variety of color combinations, while MAKA only has solid color shape materials. Music material Data source: Production pages of various platforms Yiqixiu provides 8 types of music, including quiet, happy, sweet, sad, etc., and 75 music materials; Rabbit Exhibition provides 8 types of music, including business, joy, grand, festival, etc., and 324 music materials; MAKA only provides 16 music materials. In terms of music materials, Tuzhan provides a large number of music materials, with a total of 324 music materials in eight categories, which can fully meet the user's choice of background music; YiQixiu and MAKA are relatively less, YiQixiu provides 75 music materials, which can basically meet daily uses; while MAKA only provides 16 music materials, and the user's choice space is very limited. 3. Ease of getting started for beginners Yiqixiu: Ease of use ★★★ Log in to YiQixiu and enter the editing page. The interface is a bit complicated. On the left is the template center; on the right is page management (only the page number is displayed), and above are some functional components, including fonts, text, background, music, video, pictures, shapes, atlases, interactions, forms and special effects. In the middle is the work editing area, but there are also components for setting the background, music and special effects. The interface layout is a bit complicated, and the page management on the right is a bit wasted. It can be made into a preview page. Yiqixiu production page Rabbit Exhibition: Ease of use ★★★★ Log in to Rabbit Exhibition and enter the editing page. The interface is simple and clear. On the left is the page preview area; on the right are some component areas, including text, pictures, shapes, buttons, forms, interactions, music, and extensions; above are Save, Preview, Publish, Work Name, and User Name; in the middle is the editing area. Rabbit Exhibition Production Page MAKA: Difficulty ★★☆ Log in to MAKA and enter the editing page. The interface is also relatively simple. On the left is the page preview area, on the right are some component property settings, and above is the component area, which has text, image gallery, shape elements, button links, background music, and some function keys: undo, preview, and save; in the middle is the work editing area. MAKA production page In general, the most basic operations are creating a new page, editing, saving and publishing works. In RabbitExhibition, these four basic operations are clearly visible, and users can easily see these operations and get started. Take a look at YiQixiu. Except for the new page which is not very obvious, the other three operations - work editing, saving and publishing, are still very obvious and there are no major obstacles to get started. Finally, let’s talk about MAKA. There are clear instructions for creating new pages, editing and saving works, but the publishing function is integrated into the preview, and you can’t find it unless you look carefully. 4. Data Service Rabbit Exhibition: ★★★★ In terms of data analysis, Rabbit Exhibition has connected to the Fibonacci data service, which allows users to view the dissemination of works in the past 30 days, including analysis of data overview, visits and browsing, sharing and dissemination, dissemination level, geographical distribution and visitor migration. Customer Service Through observation of the QQ and WeChat groups of these platforms, I asked some production-related questions. Among them, Tuzhan responded relatively quickly, probably because they had arranged specialists to manage the responses. The responses from the other two platforms were relatively slow. Moreover, Tuzhan also provides WeChat customer service, and the responses are very timely. The WeChat public accounts of the other two platforms also respond relatively slowly. Extra: Good news for designers For platform designers, Tuzhan also launched two functions: "One-click conversion of PSD to H5" and "One-click export of H5 templates", while the other two platforms do not have similar functions. One-click import of PSD into H5 Tuzhan’s “one-click import of PSD into H5” function is officially claimed to save 90% of typesetting time. After trying it out, I found that I only need to import the PSD source file of the designed H5 page directly into TuZhan, and I can get the H5 page corresponding to the design drawing without having to do any typeset work. This really saves a lot of time.
