Following Baidu's release of the " Notice on the Prohibition of Soft Article Promotion for Large Medical Industry Customers " at the beginning of the month, the editor recently learned from relevant personnel that Sogou will also implement a policy to prohibit soft article promotion . Although the specific implementation date has not been disclosed, the policy is said to have been issued to various agents, and the content is similar to Baidu's relevant policies. Everyone must pay attention during the promotion process and try to avoid prohibition to avoid affecting account promotion...

1. It is prohibited to promote soft articles on the landing pages of large medical industry customers , and it is prohibited to directly point to or link to the soft article page through two or multiple jumps. Landing pages that contain health care knowledge articles, popular science articles, product introductions, and company profiles are not considered soft-article pages.

Soft articles refer to the following situations:

1) Use data and cases to write articles to mislead consumers;

2) Recording objective treatment processes in the name of patients, but the recovery process is a low-probability event, misleading consumers;

For example, soft articles on kidney-tonifying and aphrodisiac-enhancing, weight-loss, breast-enhancing, and treatment or relief of certain diseases;

3) The following contents are involved in the soft article page or materials:

a) Not limited to the use of formula, method, approach, smear, apply, eat, etc. to describe the improvement of body functions;

b) Improvement in perception (such as “I feel much better”), change in body function (such as “a strand of hair has grown out”), recovery of body condition from abnormal to normal, etc.

If the page meets any of the above two conditions (a) and (b), it will be considered as a medical promotion article and will be restricted and punished according to the policy.

Soft article promotion includes but is not limited to imitating public account articles, blogs, forums, Q&A, post bars , SNS community posts and comments, advertising in the form of sharing personal experience, personal testimony, etc., guiding netizens to add a certain contact method or leave contact information in the content of the article or reply

2. The products displayed on the landing page must submit corresponding qualifications (such as approval documents or annotation certificates, advertising review forms) in the background, and the actual online promotion or offline sales products must be consistent with the products displayed on the landing page.

1) Regardless of whether there is any product-related introduction on the page, as long as the landing page has the above-mentioned medical soft-text promotion form, it is a violation;

2) The restricted landing pages include: the first page pointed to by the material and the pages after two, three or more jumps. No landing page may promote the aforementioned soft articles;

3) If the client's two-hop, three-hop or multiple-hop pages do not involve soft articles but are complete website page structures (including company name, simple company and product introduction information, etc.) and the sub-pages can be accessed normally, they are not restricted by this policy.
