Introduction to application launch rules

The first release format of Huawei AppGallery is as follows:

1. Updated version first release

1.1 Exclusive first release

This means that during the initial launch period, the new version will only be released on the Huawei App Store, and the release time on the official website and other channels must be at least 24 hours later than the release on the Huawei App Store.

1.2 Joint launch

It means that during the initial launch period, the new version will be released simultaneously on the Huawei App Store and other channels (including the official website) (the total number shall not exceed 3). The release time outside the initial launch channel must be at least 24 hours later than the release on the Huawei App Store.

2. New application launch

2.1 Exclusive first release

This means that during the initial launch period, the new version will only be released on the Huawei App Store, and the release time on the official website and other channels must be at least 7*24 hours later than the release on the Huawei App Store.

3. Application first release requirements

1. The initial application must be submitted 5 working days in advance.

2. The shortest time interval between the first releases of the same application is 25 days.

3. The first screen of each application launch will display the Huawei App Market's first splash screen, which will be displayed for no less than 1.5 seconds. Huawei App Market will provide the source file of the splash screen image, and developers can adjust the image size as needed. First release splash screen download.

4. The staff will evaluate the application based on the submitted initial launch application, and feedback will be provided within 3 working days for applications that meet the initial launch requirements.

5. The first-released application, such as an upgraded version of an online historical version, has specific functions, content upgrades and version number upgrades. Apps that only fix application bugs but do not upgrade the version number, or only upgrade the version number but do not upgrade the specific functions and content of the app, cannot be released first.

6. Developers need to have the final and true copyright of the application. If a developer impersonates the development rights of an application developer and causes serious consequences, the impersonator will be fully responsible. Huawei AppGallery will also deal with it seriously and reserve the right to prosecute.

7. The application must not contain advertising modules that affect the user experience, nor any application recommendation modules.

8. If an app is found to have maliciously updated its version and applied for first-release resources, Huawei AppGallery will cancel the app's first-release qualification in this market.

Notice:

1. Huawei AppGallery provides a fast-track review, testing, and release for first-released apps. As long as the first-released apps are uploaded in a timely manner, they can be ensured to be launched as scheduled on the day of release.

2. For applications that need to be first released, the first release version should be uploaded at the earliest one day in advance and at the latest before 10 am on the day of the first release, otherwise Huawei AppGallery will cancel the first release resource recommendation.

3. If the application time for the first release of an app is a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday, the developer must upload the first release version at 17:00 on Friday or the day before the holiday, otherwise Huawei AppGallery will cancel the first release resource recommendation.

4. If you have special requirements for the listing time, you need to set it to scheduled listing when uploading the first version. Otherwise, it will be listed directly after passing the review by default.

5. If you need to change the first release information (such as the first release time, first release version number, etc.), you must update it in the first release application background and submit it for review 2 working days in advance, or feedback to customer service, otherwise Huawei AppGallery will cancel the first release resource recommendation.

6. After the first release of the application, the first release recommended resources will be based on the recommendations of the day.

7. New applications are currently only accepted for exclusive first-run applications.
