How did yesterday’s data perform? If there is no data feedback, are there any qualitative indicators? If you don’t know how to look at the data, you can learn GA, Baidu Statistics, and CNZZ. They also provide a general introduction to what indicators should be looked at for different positions. If you are unable to make a qualitative judgment for the time being, use a certain logic to judge. The key to operational work is "look at the data for everything, look at the logic if there is no data, and look at the experience if there is no logic." If UV decreases and PV increases, it is possible that the content appeal is increasing, but the user group facing the content is narrowing.
  2. User operations , how are the number of new users and the cost of new users changing? Other data such as churn rate and activity need to be analyzed. The number of new users increases or decreases, and the cost increases or decreases. These are four different situations that need to be analyzed one by one. Is it because the quality of traffic has decreased, the cost of acquiring traffic has increased, or the registration conversion rate has decreased? In routine work, these analyses only need to correspond to corresponding actions, such as delivery, activities, marketing , product changes, etc.
  3. Promotion and operation : what is the traffic change trend of each channel? What is the current situation of the channel that was the main traffic source before? Is there a problem with one channel or multiple channels? What are the recent major changes in these channels? What are the abnormal actions? Secondly, the change in traffic quality, how did the bounce rate, dwell time and other items change at that time, and how did the lagging statistical retention rate change? All of these need to be analyzed;

No matter whether these data get better or worse, as long as they are unexpected, we must find out the reasons;

The next step is to think of a method. This method needs to directly solve this goal. For example, if the PV of the content is reduced, change the recommendation mechanism and the high-quality content screening mechanism; if the number of new users is reduced, the cost of new users is reduced, and the traffic demand is increased; if the registration conversion rate is reduced, point monitoring is performed; there are thousands of possibilities. The more problems you encounter, the more likely you are to accumulate experience;

Summarize:

  1. The data is changing, and we need to focus on the change of a specific value;
  2. For the focused issues, propose ideas and list potential problems - propose solutions - if the issues are not clear, collect data and then recover data to clarify the issues;
  3. Most of the time, you only need to track and analyze recent special actions instead of doing it every day to improve efficiency;
  4. Communicate with leaders frequently or seek advice from other friends

Continuously break down goals and make new plans; break down the goals for the entire month into specific tasks for today, and how to adjust the new plan and make continuous changes
