The National Qualification Examination for Practicing Veterinarians is an entrance examination for veterinary practitioners. Its purpose is to evaluate whether veterinary practitioners have the professional knowledge, skill level and professional ethics necessary for practice. Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement regarding the 2022 National Veterinary Qualification Examination. 1. The latest notice on the 2022 National Practicing Veterinary Qualification Examination: What are the application conditions?

1. Those who meet the requirements of the catalogue of majors for general veterinary examination (Appendix 1) and have an associate degree or above or are currently studying in a full-time university can register for the general veterinary examination.

2. Applicants who have an associate degree or above or are currently studying in a full-time university and meet the requirements of the aquatic animal examination registration professional catalog (Appendix 2) can register for the aquatic animal examination.

3. Persons who have professional and technical titles of veterinarian or above before January 1, 2009 can register for the general veterinary examination.

4. Rural veterinarians who have been legally registered before 2012 (including 2012) can register for the general veterinary or aquatic animal examinations.

II. Application Method and Time for the 2022 National Licensed Veterinary Qualification Examination

Application is done through online registration and online confirmation. The online registration period is February 28 to March 11. Applicants should log on to the China Veterinary Network (www.cadc.net.cn) on their computers and enter the practicing veterinarian column to perform online registration, online confirmation, examination fee payment, admission ticket printing, score inquiry and other examination-related operations.

Applicants can check the review results after May 20, and those who pass the review can pay the examination fee. The examination fee standards and specific payment time and method will be announced by each examination area. Failure to pay the fee on time will be deemed as voluntary waiver of the application qualification.

3. Date of the 2022 National Veterinary Qualification Examination

The 2022 National Practicing Veterinary Qualification Examination will be held on July 17. Applicants can print their admission tickets by themselves between July 11 and 17. The examination includes four major subjects: basic subjects, prevention subjects, clinical subjects, and comprehensive application subjects. The specific examination time is introduced below:

1. Basic subjects: 8:3-09:30 in the morning;

2. Prevention subjects: 11:00-12:00 in the morning;

3. Clinical subjects: 2:00-3:00 p.m.;

4. Comprehensive application subjects: 4:30-5:30 p.m.

In addition, it should be noted that the examination method is a closed-book, computer-based examination. After February 28, the registration website will release the computer examination operating software and demonstration video. Therefore, candidates taking this examination can log in to the registration website in advance to familiarize themselves with the computer examination answering interface and answering methods.
