Today I bring you the latest traffic rankings of 60 mainstream information flow advertising platforms in September 2020.

The list is divided into three parts: monthly active users of major information flow platforms/crowd portrait data/mobile terminal data rankings. The overall data can be used to infer the traffic trends in October and November, and provide a reference for more accurate targeting of information flow advertising.

Let’s take a look at the overall data performance of the major information flow platforms last month:

According to the latest monthly active data in September, among the 60 mainstream information streaming media platforms counted, the monthly active users of 16 platforms increased year-on-year, while the monthly active users of 44 platforms decreased year-on-year . The growth of some platforms is more obvious, but the growth of most platforms is smaller.

Let’s take a detailed look at the data performance of each dimension of each major platform in September.

Top 3 monthly active users

The top three websites with the highest growth rates were Mama.com, followed by DoCar.com and Zhonghua Wannianli, with growth rates of 25.9%, 9.3% and 8.3% respectively.

Top 3 monthly active users with the largest decline

The top three platforms with the largest decreases were Xigua Video, Bilibili, and Douyin Volcano Edition, with decreases of 6.5%, 6.5%, and 6.4% respectively. The decreases of other major platforms were relatively small.

Social platforms - The fluctuations of the 7 social platforms surveyed were not large, with Maimai's decline being relatively significant at 1.6%.

Information platforms : Of the 15 information platforms counted, 5 platforms maintained an increase in monthly active users, while 10 platforms saw a year-on-year decline in monthly active users; Qutoutiao and Phoenix News saw a relatively significant decline of 2.9% each.

Browser platforms : The monthly active users of the eight browser platforms included in the survey did not fluctuate much, with Cheetah Browser experiencing a relatively significant decline of 1.7%.

Video platforms : Among the six video platforms counted, except for Sohu Video, which maintained an increase in monthly active users, the monthly active users of the other platforms all declined year-on-year, with Youku and Mango TV seeing the largest declines of 6% and 4.2% respectively.

Short video live streaming : Among the 7 platforms counted, except for Baidu Haokan Video, which increased by 4.6%, the monthly active users of the other platforms all declined year-on-year, among which Xigua Video, Bilibili, and Douyin Volcano Edition had the largest declines of 6.5%, 6.5%, and 6.4% respectively.

Audio platforms : Among the five platforms surveyed, Himalaya had the largest increase of 4.8%, while Lizhi had a significant decrease of 2.4%.

Other platforms : The monthly active users of maternal and child platform Mama.com saw a huge increase of 25.9%; the monthly active users of tool platform Zhonghua Wannianli saw the largest increase of 8.3%; the monthly active users of automobile platform Dochedi increased significantly by 9.3%; the monthly active users of Zhihu and Xiaohongshu decreased slightly.

The above are several platforms where the difference in the proportion of men and women is large, and we also need to pay special attention to them.
