World AIDS Day丨How does AIDS destroy our bodies step by step?

Today is December 1st, the first day of December and also World AIDS Day.

When it comes to AIDS, many people become afraid of it.

In daily life, it is no less frightening than cancer because it is contagious and difficult to cure.

Do you know how AIDS destroys our body? Let's take a look at it below!

When the human body is unfortunately infected with HIV, it will specifically look for human cells that match itself and then infect them. A type of white blood cell called helper T lymphocyte is the main target of HIV. After HIV enters the cell, it will replicate a large number of new viruses. After the new HIV viruses are synthesized, they will leave the T cell that has been killed and then look for other cells and infect them.

In this way, after all the T cells are slowly killed, the human immune system is destroyed, making the body easily invaded by foreign bacteria and viruses, resulting in a variety of incurable infections and tumors.

Now you understand, HIV is very cunning, once infected, the virus will quietly destroy the human immune system until it collapses the body, leaving no chance for the person to fight back.

Therefore, we must learn to protect ourselves in daily life, try to go to a regular hospital for medical treatment, practice safe sex, and avoid sharing toothbrushes, razors, etc.
