In recent years, Haiyan has actively developed the rice-shrimp industry, built 11 provincial rice-shrimp demonstration bases, 90 demonstration bases with an area of ​​more than 100 mu, and a rice-shrimp integrated breeding area of ​​35,000 mu, achieving an average rice yield of more than 500 kg per mu, an average crayfish yield of more than 115 kg per mu, and an average increase of more than 3,000 yuan per mu. This year, Haiyan County will build and renovate 14,300 mu of high-standard farmland (grain production functional area), the largest construction area in history.
