In terms of climatic conditions, the temperature in the sand source area was relatively high and the precipitation was relatively low in the early stage. In addition, the vegetation had not yet turned green, and the exposed surface conditions of the sand source area were prone to triggering sandstorms.

In terms of weather conditions, cold air activities in my country have remained active since March and April. During the influence of the cold air, Mongolian cyclones and ground cold fronts have become favorable driving forces, bringing sand and dust from the source areas to downstream areas, and even all the way to further south and farther places.
