Summer vacation is coming soon! Every summer vacation is a time for children to have fun, but it is also a time when various dangers are prone to occur. Heat stroke, drowning, traffic safety, food safety... How to ensure the safety of children during the summer vacation? These safety tips should be remembered.

1. Prevent heatstroke: After sweating a lot, you should replenish water in time; try to reduce going out as much as possible in the hot season. It is recommended to take good sun protection when going out, such as using a parasol, wearing a sun hat and sunglasses.

2. Prevent drowning: Do not swim or play in rivers, lakes, construction site ponds and other areas without safety protection; do not pick up items that have fallen into lakes or rivers; do not wash things, fish or shrimp near lakes or rivers; if you find a companion drowning, immediately seek adult help and do not rescue blindly.

3. Prevent falling from heights: Pay attention to safety when going to spaces with height differences such as windowsills, balconies, stairs, and elevators; parents can install limiters on windows to control the opening of windows; do not place tables and chairs that children can climb on next to doors and windows.

4. Traffic safety: Observe traffic regulations, do not run red lights or climb over isolation guardrails; do not look at mobile phones or listen to music while walking or riding a bicycle, and do not ride a bicycle in the motor vehicle lane; do not play on the road or around parked vehicles, and pay attention to the blind spots of vehicles; parents, as guardians of their children, must keep the car keys safe and not let minors drive the motor vehicle.

5. Electrical safety: Understand the main power switch and learn to turn off the main power in an emergency. Do not touch or probe the inside of the power socket with your hands or conductive objects (such as wire, nails, pins and other metal products). Do not touch electrical appliances with wet hands or wipe them with a wet cloth. If you find someone getting an electric shock, call an adult for help and do not handle the situation yourself to prevent chain electric shock.

6. Food safety: Wash raw vegetables and fruits before eating to avoid pesticide poisoning; try to eat less or no leftovers. If you eat leftovers, make sure to heat them thoroughly to prevent bacterial food poisoning; do not eat raw food without hygiene guarantees; eat less fried, smoked, and grilled foods, as these foods can produce toxic substances if not prepared properly.

Students, have you learned these safety knowledge? This summer, let's have a happy summer vacation and stay safe!
