On June 9, the Public Meteorological Service Center of the China Meteorological Administration released the first national high temperature and heatstroke weather forecast this year . It is expected that during the day on the 10th, southern Hebei, northern Henan, most of Shandong, northern Anhui, northwestern Jiangsu, and the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang are more likely to suffer from heatstroke. Among them, parts of southwestern Hebei, north-central and southwestern Shandong, northeastern Henan, and the Turpan Basin in Xinjiang are more likely to suffer from heatstroke .

How to deal with the high temperature?

When the temperature is high, the body's pores expand and sweating increases in order to dissipate the heat. If you are too greedy for coolness or suffer from sudden changes in temperature at this time, you will be more likely to get sick.

1. Reduce outdoor high temperature exposure and try to avoid going out during high temperature periods . If you go out, pay attention to sun protection, try to avoid high temperature environments and direct sunlight, and it is advisable to move in the shade and avoid excessive physical exertion.

2. Keep the indoor environment cool . When the indoor temperature is high, you can use cooling equipment to lower the ambient temperature; at night and in the early morning, you can open windows for ventilation to lower the temperature, reduce direct sunlight and unnecessary use of heat-generating electrical appliances.

4. Avoid "rapid cooling" after being heated . Some people like to turn on the air conditioner, electric fan or take a cold shower immediately after leaving a high-temperature environment, but this will quickly close the pores of the whole body, making it difficult for the heat in the body to dissipate, and will also cause insufficient blood supply to the brain due to the rapid contraction of brain blood vessels.

Under high temperatures, these people are more susceptible to heatstroke, so be vigilant!

High temperatures can easily cause heat stroke. The elderly, children, pregnant women, people with weak constitutions, sedentary people who lack exercise, obese people, and people with high blood pressure are all susceptible to heat stroke and should be especially careful to prevent it. When outdoor workers are working in high temperatures:

Including high temperature and strong radiation operations, such as smelting, furnaces, etc.;

High temperature and high humidity operations, such as printing and dyeing, silk reeling, and deep mining operations;

Summer outdoor work, such as summer construction, farm work, sanitation and other outdoor work;

High-intensity work in summer, such as sports competitions and military training,

Do not take it lightly and be alert to the occurrence of occupational heat stroke.

Heat stroke can be divided into three types according to different clinical manifestations: heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If heat stroke develops into the stage of heat stroke, it is extremely dangerous!

If you experience dizziness, headache, weakness in the limbs, thirst, sweating, palpitations, chest tightness, or flushing, burning skin, etc., please remember the following points:

1. Quickly leave the high temperature environment and move to a cool and ventilated place to rest;

2. Supplement fluid and salt water;

3. Artificial heat dissipation, cold compress with wet towel, ice compress underarms, alcohol body rub, etc.;

4. If there is no relief or symptoms are severe, call 120 and seek medical attention immediately.

5. Prepare heatstroke prevention and cooling medicines in advance, adjust your diet, drink water in time, and pay attention to changes in body temperature and discomfort symptoms;

6. Personnel who work under high temperature conditions or need to work outdoors for a long time during the day should take necessary protective measures, arrange their working time reasonably, and replenish water and electrolytes.
